If you are interested in artistry, you may have come to the same conclusion I have:  life is not a single-answer problem. Yet few of us, including myself, were well prepared for this unavoidable realization. Working to expand our thinking, add sophistication to our ways of understanding the world, or redefine the meaning of excellence and success, we are surrounded by people, institutions, and organizations pushing for their version of "the best answer" for what to do, who to be, how to live, and what to care about...as if it were the only way. In the midst of this pressure and turbulence, it takes courage to pursue the artistic alternative. Fortunately, choosing to embrace artistry's creative possibilities brings with it its own set of rewards that can be reached through no other short-cut.
